Israel Airport Security Allowed To Read Tourists' Email
wiredmikey writes "Israeli security officials at Ben Gurion airport are legally allowed to demand access to tourists' email accounts and deny them entry if they refuse, the country's top legal official said on Wednesday. Details of the policy were laid out by Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein in a written response to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), the group said in a statement. 'In a response dated April 24, 2013, the attorney general's office confirmed this practice,' ACRI said, quoting sections of the document which said it was only done in exceptional cases where 'relevant suspicious signs' were evident and only done with the tourist's 'consent'. 'Allowing security agents to take such invasive measures at their own discretion and on the basis of such flimsy "consent" is not befitting of a democracy,' commented Lila Margalit from ACRI."

Sure, you always have the option to decline, and, of course, waste your air-fare and any deposits you have paid for your trip. And you can take comfort in the knowledge that the Jews are such good and honest people and would never abuse this to the detriment of their victims, err, I mean visitors. And we can take comfort in knowing that any enemy of Israel are just too stupid to have multiple email accounts, so that they could give the people who demand access the "safe" account and go about their business safely. People should just accept this when they get there and are greeted this way.

Were you aware that many of the Arabs now living in Israel were labourers imported by the Jews that were living there continuously for over 3000 years? the names of many Arab families give it away, eg "Al Misri" indicates the person was an immigrant from Egypt. Before 1967 the word "Palestinian" usually meant a Jew living in Palestine, while the Arabs were simply "Arabs". The word "Palestinian" was co-opted in 1967 by the terrorist PLO so they could continue their genocidal plans against the Jews. Please see my earlier post in the thread for references of this:
