UK Town of Ipswich Remodelled As Zelda Level

cyclomedia writes "Switch Fringe is a relatively new not-for-profit annual music and arts festival in the UK town of Ipswich, and this year's program features a full page map of the town with details about each venue. Unlike most other maps this one is in the form of a Zelda level. This is in part due to this year's theme 'Re-imagining Ipswich,' that PixelH8 is coming out of semi-retirement to play a gig during the proceedings and possibly due to the fact that the map's designer — The Decibel Kid — spent too much time playing Zelda on a Gameboy Color during the first Web bubble."

They didn't remodel the town, they made a map of the town that looks like a Zelda map.

I was super disappointed when I followed each Link (teehee) and didn't find a town that physically looked like the world of Zelda.

if the town was truly remodeled, you'd probably have more than a handful of people attempting to cut down the shrubs for rupees.

Well since it's a Zelda map, you should be allowed to run in and smash every jar in sight :-D

    LAME!

Misleading title, stupid concept, and a complete waste of my time. Is this r/boring?

Darn, I wanted them to go with my idea of upgrading the town's name to Ipv6swich

The title is the wrong way around.

Fix: "Zelda level modelled after town of Ipswich". And it's not even playable...

Unfortunately, you're still going to get arrested for breaking into houses and smashing all of the jars.
