Apple Developing Curve Screen iPhones and Improved Sensors
An anonymous reader writes "An Apple insider who asked not to be identified because the information is classified told Bloomberg that Apple's next iPhone models will come with curve displays and enhanced touchscreen sensors that can detect heavy and light touches. The two models -- 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches -- would be Apple's largest iPhones. Apple is still developing the two models and the person disclosed that Apple could launch the devices in the third quarter of next year."
I certainly wouldn't want to test the limits of Apple's "Global Security" division... Especially not in one of their company towns.
I just bought an iPhone 5. I say "just" but actually it was two weeks ago, and I spent the time since then reading the EULA. Parts of it didn't even seem to be in English but eventually I agreed to it. Now Apple wants to sew my mouth to some guy's arse hole or something...
Anyway, the phone itself is glitchy. I get motion sickness whenever there is that annoying zoom/parallax effect, and it's literally ALL THE TIME. I couldn't figure out how to side load my Android apps on to it either. The screen is tiny, it looks like a Pepper Pig toy phone. Every five minutes it asks me to make an Apple ID, which I don't need or want.
Can't seem to get my music on to it. Apparently I have to install this iTunes thing but I'm going to need another month to read the EULA. It doesn't seem to support FLAC anyway. The keyboard is awful. The fingerprint scanner looks interesting but I don't have any fingerprints, you insensitive clod.
On top of all that it keeps ordering industrial quantities of anal lube on Amazon. Apparently I agreed to that but to be honest I can't remember. Obviously I'm going to return the phone, and maybe try an iPhone 5C instead.
