Apple Urges Arizona Governor To Veto Anti-Gay Legislation

Jan Brewer to veto a bill that would allow business owners with strongly held religious beliefs to deny service to gays and lesbians. Last November Tim Cook announced that Apple was building a sapphire glass plant in Mesa, AZ, that would bring 2,000 new jobs to the state. 'Apple is indisputably one of the world's most innovative companies and I'm thrilled to welcome them to Arizona,' said Gov. Brewer at the time. 'Apple will have an incredibly positive economic impact for Arizona and its decision to locate here speaks volumes about the friendly, pro-business climate we have been creating these past four years.' According to Philip Elmer-DeWitt, it sounds like Tim Cook may be having second thoughts about how 'friendly' and 'pro-business' the climate in Arizona really is."

Marriage is irrespective of religion. You can have marriages that never come into contact with any religion. Marriages are fucking contracts. Contract law is certainly part of Federal law.

There are already attempts to normalize pedophilia. This is the slippery slope that those who protested against allowing miscegenation warned us about.
What's wrong with miscegenation? Children of such unions are left without a solid racial identity. They are genetic islands so they have a hard time finding a match for transplant organs and bone marrow transplants. Even brothers and sisters can have too much genetic differences to be sources for a donation.
So why do us bigots want to put our foot down now? It is easier to stop an object when it has less momentum. We don't want to have to host man/male pony gay weddings in our reception halls. We don't want to have to host man/female pony weddings either. Now I'm not saying that people can't have their man/pony weddings anywhere, just that we're not forced to play along with this farce.
Uhm, gays arent a race. Its never been proven it has anything exclusively to genetics, only alluded to. Like bestiality, watersports, wifeswapping and self abuse, it can clearly be seen as a choice until PROVEN to be a genetic carrier taking his sorry ass out of the game.

Basically, they dont want to go against their religion, not hate gays, but being told they have to serve gays desires to be married by the government amounts to the government making laws disallowing the practice of their religion. No, it is not. The only thing the Constitution has to say about contracts is: "No State shall ... pass any ... Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts". (Article 1, Section 10.)
Contract law is from Common Law, predating the Constitution and which has absolutely nothing to do with the Federal government at all (with the exception of Federal fraud statutes which govern interstate trade). It is almost entirely governed by the States and their courts, based on said Common Law.
