13-Year-Old Finds Fungus Deadly To AIDS Patients Growing On Trees

An anonymous reader writes Researchers have pinpointed the environmental source of fungal infections that have been sickening HIV/AIDS patients in Southern California for decades. It literally grows on trees. The discovery is based on the science project of a 13-year-old girl, who spent the summer gathering soil and tree samples from areas around Los Angeles hardest hit by infections of the fungus named Cryptococcus gattii.

      You mean the wholesale destruction of marine ecosystems via fertalizer and horrible pesticides like DDT and Chlordane. And to respond to AC's comment below:

      We did not need the green revolution to survive and create sustainable food and good life. That was sold to you by people with money and power and now is justified in the name of all the ungrateful greedy assholes who think they are entitled to heart bypass surgery after years of sugary hamburger buns.

    If we let all of the niggers die off, they will stop fucking monkeys and other animals, stop getting infected with incurable diseases, and stop destroying the world. ...and Africa, which is actually very beautiful and can be a very prosperous continent once all the subhuman beasts have been removed from the land. Hell, we should do that in America, too. All they do is smoke crack, sell their foodstamps to buy crack, rape, murder, thieve, get drunk, and do everything they can to turn the USA into the nightmare that every African nation is.
