Ask Slashdot: Robotics or Electronic Kits For Wounded Veterans?
An anonymous reader writes I am currently a combat veteran in the care of the VA Hospital. A lot of veterans here suffer from PTSD and other injuries related to combat and trauma. As part of the healing process, the VA finds it good that we take up hobbies such as art or music, and they supply us kits and stuff to put together and paint. This is great, but many of us younger veterans have an interest in robotics and electronics. Do you know of some good and basic robotic and electronic kits that can be ordered or donated to Veterans out there? Any information would be appreciated.
how to have a high chance of PTSD: go to some foreign country, and blow shit up and kill foreigners who were not a threat to you, who correctly perceive YOU as the INVADER, and maybe take out a bunch of civvies while you're at it and call it collateral damage. in the name of "freedom". in the name of protecting the US from people who werent a threat to it. who fight back using weapons the fucking US sold them.
yeah no wonder you have PTSD. there is no shame in defending yourself against an unprovoked aggressor who is marching on your own soil. but nothing the US military has done lately is anything like that. you have PTSD because you still have a soul.
