Ex-CBS Reporter Claims Government Agency Bugged Her Computer
RoccamOccam writes A former CBS News reporter who quit the network over claims it kills stories that put President Obama in a bad light says she was spied on by a "government-related entity" that planted classified documents on her computer. In her new memoir, Sharyl Attkisson says a source who arranged to have her laptop checked for spyware in 2013 was "shocked" and "flabbergasted" at what the analysis revealed. "This is outrageous. Worse than anything Nixon ever did. I wouldn't have believed something like this could happen in the United States of America," Attkisson quotes the source saying.
Actually she was a 'lifer' at CBS and the legacy media. She just never got the memo that speaking truth to power is not done when the administration has a D after the name.
The last six years has been a never ending string of Pulitzer Prize level scandals that have not just been ignored by the Party PR shops the low info crowd calls 'the media' or 'the press' but have been actively covered up. At least a dozen scandals that meet the 'far worse than Nixon even discussed' are out there waiting for anyone with a large enough megaphone to break them into the public conservation.
And no, she won't be the one, that was why they sacked her butt, so she would not have access to the CBS megaphone.
