Boo! The House Majority PAC Is Watching You
An anonymous reader writes I received some interesting mail this week from the House Majority PAC. First, a "voter report card" postcard telling me my voting record was "excellent" (I'm a good citizen!), but also letting me know that they "plan to update this report card after the election to see whether you voted". OK, so one of the Democratic Party's super PACs want me to vote, but it seems to be something of an attempt at intimidation. Today, I received a letter in which they really put the pressure on. Here are some excerpts: "Who you vote for is secret. But whether or not you vote is public record. Our organization monitors turnout in your neighborhood, and we are disappointed that many of your neighbors do not always exercise their right to vote." So why contact me instead of them? Voting is a civic duty, but it isn't illegal to abstain. That's my neighbors' business, not mine. It's one way of expressing dissatisfaction, isn't it? And if there are no candidates you wish to vote for, then why should you vote for someone you don't want? But Big Brother PAC has other ideas: "We will be reviewing the Camden County [NJ] official voting records after the upcoming election to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014. If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not." The letter is signed "Joe Fox Election day Coordinator". So what happens if I don't vote? Well, at least I got a scare this Halloween. Are PACs using similar tactics in other states?
Mostly a desperation tactic by the leftists. They know they are about to get crushed. If someone tried to contact me about voting from the demonrats, I'd tell them to go f*ck themselves. It will be good for this nation to get back to traditional American values.
an ill wind that blows no good
As far as I am concerned, the Koch brothers are few of the very last of real Americans, who are standing against the tyranny of the socialist / fascist state and are fighting against the mob and for their individual freedoms, which is what made America and what makes true American heroes. Fighting against the stupid majority that wants to destroy the principles that built what used to be the freest country based on those principles and what is now falling apart due to rejection of those very principles.
From my perspective Rockefeller was a true American hero, you see, a guy who made more money than anybody else, figured out how to profit and how to build his company by engaging in actual free market capitalism instead of government cronyism, which is why the government destroyed his company at the end.
You can't handle the truth.
Don't be stupid. The founding fathers chief interest was in stealing the land from the natives that already lived there.
They were pissed off at King George who wanted to treat all his subjects equally, pissed of that Canada (Quebec) had become a colony and the evil Roman Catholics had gained rights as well as the taxation shit and the English treating the colonists rights as shit. (The only real reasons for the colonists to revolt)
America was the home of the Braves and Free until the colonists fucking killed them and stole their land.
Oh one of the rights that they were protecting was the right to buy and sell people, something that perhaps you'd be in favour of, freedom you know.

Had the resident Aborigines been more proactive in governing "their" land and interacting with settlers, instead of shunning contact and NOT showing strength and intention, things may have worked out differently.
As settlers crowded the coasts and "Indians" moved, rather than standing ground and making some attempt at assimilation, the settlers did the natural thing; they TOOK POSSESSION . No one was there arguing for the Indian, not even the Indian. It was completely Darwinian. Give the Indians a Darwin Award.
Now look at world history, the wars, the territorial boundaries that changed, the people who moved across the face of the Earth and assimilated as they went.
Nothing was stolen from the Indians, the Indians owned nothing to begin with and now they have Casinos. That's a fine lot better than happened to the conquered of the rest of the world, throughout history. A good thing we came along too! Indians had already hunted several species to extinction, Giant ground sloths, Camels and they were working the Mastodons when shit got cold. The forest fires before we came weren't always set by lightning; it was tribal entertainment to set a pine afire and watch the pretty colored fire of an evening. This went wrong more than once.
Nope, not going to buy into that popular misconception that Indians got anything stolen. Lucky they weren't enslaved. I figure they got a hell of a bargain, when you consider the rest of the world.
If we still had that mindset, Mexico would be NEXT! So get off your regurgitative high horse and apply some brainpower to your statement of misguided outrage. You just sound silly. Indians are doing pretty damn well for a conquered race and the amount of effort that they have ever applied to anything. They simply lost an evolutionary battle in their history and are currently adapting to the best of their abilities.
So you can guess where the U.S. Negroes are on a sympathy chart as well..... We might as well feel bad for the European immigrants that were downtrodden as they immigrated in the 1800s, at least they TRIED to get ahead and didn't blame their problems on EVERYBODY ELSE!!! (the hallmark of a loser)
