Russia Takes Down Steve Jobs Memorial After Apple's Tim Cook Comes Out
An anonymous reader writes Citing the need to abide by a law combating "gay propaganda," a memorial dedicated to the late Apple founder Steve Jobs has been torn down. This comes on the heels of new CEO Tim Cook coming out as gay. "In Russia, gay propaganda and other sexual perversions among minors are prohibited by law," ZEFS (a Russian group of companies that originally erected the statue) said, noting that the memorial had been "in an area of direct access for young students and scholars". "After Apple CEO Tim Cook publicly called for sodomy, the monument was taken down to abide to the Russian federal law protecting children from information promoting denial of traditional family values."
How do you figure that this is illogical? Sodomy itself is not prohibited, but it is illegal to advocate it. Homosexual relationships are by definition sodomy. In addition, this was not a result of a government mandate (that is, there was no order to "take this down"), but a proactive action taken by the organization that erected the monument.
Poorly, actually.
Even when done correctly, there's a low chance of conception. And that only counts the times when conception is intended or not actively prevented (or sometimes actively prevented, but incorrectly). Other times, there are people that think sticking it in a member of the same sex is normal, and best of all, they'll get very vocal about it if you call them what they are: deviant.
Seriously. They're biologically deviant. Biology dictates that penises normally go in vaginas, repeatedly, until the nerve endings in the penis are stimulated enough to trigger a chemical reaction in the brain that causes semen to be emitted into the vagina the penis is currently in. It also dictates that some things will conveniently satisfy the urge to breed by simulating the stimulation that happens during that process.
I know it's unpopular to say it, but I also don't really care what some random people on /. think either, so meh. Argue away. The facts are obvious in this, and no amount of argument by biological deviants or their supporters is going to get the facts (of life) to change to support their opinion.
Here I am starting a flamewar, and all I came in to the thread to say in the first place was this: "And nothing of value was lost." Hero worship ranks right up there with being gay. It's retarded, though for entirely different reasons.
