Now, a new method for mapping how information flows around the globe (abstract) identifies the best languages to spread your ideas far and wide. One hint: If you're considering a second language, try Spanish instead of Chinese.

    DUH! Didn't need a computer program to tell me that. OP needs to get out of the basement and hang out for an hour at the nearest bus station. It should be an eye-opening experience.
