Reddit Removes Communities To Address Harassment, Users Respond
New submitter sethstorm writes: As a change to their community management, Reddit administrators have banned multiple communities (known as subreddits) in a bid to remove harassment. In response, users have responded in different ways — some have pointed out the bias of Reddit admins for leaving known harassers alone such as those in the "SRS" subreddit, others have attempted to re-create the banned subreddit "FatPeopleHate", and many have gone to overwhelm Voat (a competitor).

Speaking as an AC: fuck you both(GrandCow/Karmashock).
I don't normally read people's usernames when I read their posts because I think it lulls people in to a false sense of security. The inevitable consequence is that all posts are treated with similar disregard as those posts made by AC posters such as myself, with the exception of the personality cults described above.
Karmashock: I actually remember seeing some of your posts which makes me think all you do is spam this site all day. No matter how many sockpuppet accounts you've farmed karma under, you're still just a dude who burns precious life hours power-leveling karma in an ideological echo-chamber.
GrandCow: Unlike Karmashock, you've never posted something which has left me with a negative impression of you. Said differently: I have no idea who you are.
OTOH, I have no idea who you are. This goes some way towards supporting parent AC's position and undermining Karmashock's.
So that's where we're at: an Anonymous Coward watching Karmashock(borderline troll account with a manufactured cult following) brow-beating an Anonymous Coward for not lusting after Karma points("precious!"). Specifically, an AC who claims that UIDs just create personality cults...
Speaking of personality cults: in chimes "GrandCow"(who could actually be a Karmashock sockpuppet) following up in harmony with Karmashock's ad hominem bandwagon("For all anyone knows", "Karmashock" not only advocates on behalf of pedophiles, but IRL: actually IS ONE).
I have a dream where a discussion platform exists, in which people are evaluated not by the volume of sockpuppets in their possession, or their ability to pander to group-think: but by the quality of their ideas and those idea's respective presentation. To people like Karmashock: I'm sure that idea is utterly terrifying because nobody would care to listen.
