SDN Switches Not Hard To Compromise, Researcher Says

alphadogg writes: Software-defined switches hold a lot of promise for network operators, but new research due to be presented at Black Hat will show that security measures haven't quite caught up yet. Gregory Pickett, founder of the Chicago-based security firm Hellfire Security, has developed several attacks against network switches that use Onie, the Linux-based Open Network Install Environment that competes with OpenDaylight. Being able to exploit the vulnerability to put malware on SDN switches would have full visibility into all of the traffic running through the switch, enabling large-scale spying.

    Me? Heh - I just "beat them @ their OWN game" & exhaust their modpoints on them, since I can post anonymously with NO LIMITS, so I just repost again (& again in perpetuity IF needed) until they "run dry" of their bogus modpoints... outsmarting the WEAK little dolts doing it.

    P.S.=> The "so-called 'moderation system'" that's EASILY SOCKPUPPET (fake accounts) CHEATED to "farm karma" to gain those modpoints to abuse with kowtowing posts to the 'hive mind' here (or from parties your posts *may* offend or threaten, especially their monies for inferior products they produce (as I do)).

    HOWEVER:

    There's a GOOD side - They don't have an UNLIMITED source of those bogusly used modpoints - it CAN be run out (I do it to them ALL THE TIME, lol), & guess what??

    THEN, you win & they're out of bullets with their SINGLE effete little 'weapon' in modpoints - yes, it's that SIMPLE...

    What makes me laugh most???

    For such a bunch of "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" loving people, I've often found those that preach that are the BIGGEST SINGLE ABUSERS OF IT THERE IS, in using their modpoints to attempt to hide others' posts, in some weak attempt to supress them... odd eh? Not...
