Fullstack Launches Coding School For Women (sdtimes.com)

An anonymous reader writes: Fullstack is tackling technology's diversity problem in its latest venture. The coding schooling has announced a new coding school dedicated to women. Named after computer science pioneer Grace Hopper, the Grace Hopper academy aims to provide women with high-quality coding education, and won't ask for tuition until the student finds a job post-graduation. "Technology has become intrinsic in our daily routines, regardless of gender, but the tech industry remains exceedingly male-dominated," said David Yang, cofounder of Fullstack Academy. "We have always been inspired by innovation and it seems peculiar that an industry revolutionized by a pioneer like Grace Hopper would remain so divided along gender lines."

Homelessness, suicide, prison, and all of the worst and most dangerous jobs.

Yeah and you know what, this is the thing that really pisses me off about so-called MRAs. There's feminists out there who think some particular thing is bad for women that they care about. So what they do is do something about it, whether setting up shelters for battered women, or creating new education opportunities.

And you know what? It's fine. Why not help people?

The MRAs do no such thing. For all the noise and fury what they do is sit around on the internet complaining about women and feminists trying to make the world a better place? Where are the MRAs setting up homeless shelters, suicide prevention schemes or education and training to get men out of those dangerous jobs into better ones?

And this is why MRAs are a joke.

Neither do men. Go stop 10 random guys on the street and ask them if they want to write computer programs. I'll bet you won't get a high hit rate (unless you're hanging around Mountain View or something).

And sine you profess to know what women want so much, can you explain the reason for the sharp change in gender ratios in the profession over a short time span?

I think you misunderstood. It's social justice for poor oppressed men. Where is the men only school for CS?

I wish this would stop too. The SJW anti-feminists keep posting these stories about how women are getting a tiny bit of the privilege they enjoy and how it's so terrible. I mean, what next, segregated bathrooms?! Do they expect women to have a separate football league that illegally excludes men and deprives young boys of the chance to play?

Whatever problems there are for women, and let's face it most of them are neurotic liars so we can't trust what they say, are best solved by ignoring them. Car analogy: if your car is broken, the last thing you want to do is fix it. That will just make things worse, and is unfair to your truck.
