Problem is, that law has had to be renewed over and over, each time with an expiration date. But today, the U.S. Senate finally passed a piece of legislation that would make the tax ban permanent.
I mean when I buy stuff on Amazon I see Massachusetts state sales tax being charged. Is it because Amazon has a presence in the state like the article mentions? (Their distribution center is right up the street from me.)
