Instagram Announces New Business Tools: Contact Option, Deeper Analytics (techcrunch.com)
Instagram on Tuesday announced it is adding more features for the business users. The platform, which has over 200,000 advertisers, is debuting three new features including business profiles. Businesses will also get a "contact" button on their profiles which they can use to interact with the customers via call, text, or email. Instagram is also giving businesses access to deeper analytics -- even if the post isn't an advertisement.
First they get the casuals. Now they go after the businesses. And don't forget they are implementing advertising to NON-USERS per a recent bit of news...
What pathetic life you have to get off passing as a racist on a tech site. Real racists are cowards but hardly anonymous.
Real racists are cowards
There's zero evidence to support that statement. It's just a cheap attack at people who have values different than yours.
Besides, a lot of racist people are unaware that they are technically racist. Same goes for sexists and many others. Putting all those shades of values and beliefs in the same bigotry bucket only demonstrates a poor understanding of humanity.
lucm, indeed.
Blaming others not to face yourself is cowardice.
Blaming others not to face yourself is cowardice.
That's just more simplistic assumptions about what racism is. Simplistic and corny like those lousy motivational gif idiots keep cranking out ("aim for the stars", "there's no traffic jam on the extra mile", etc).
You are not standing up against racism when you say things like "racists are cowards". You're just posturing and fishing for Likes or +1s, instead of facilitating a discussion about complex social issues. I'd say there's more cowardice in that than in that generic racist persona you're pretending to shame.
lucm, indeed.
I acknowledge that there's room for more explanation. I have no interest in points, however. My dilemma is that I also don't believe that matters of social complexity can be discussed here at all. While I can readily ignore the seemingly deep debates around here to just get some news about tech stuff, the racist and sexiste remarks are sometimes more difficult to ignore. I will happily discuss this via a more suitable medium if you wish and I can better explain my initial shorthand response for Sartrean bad faith
