What purpose does saying the phrase "radical Islamic terrorist attack" serve but to alienate an entire religion whose majority is peaceful? Every time a Christian uses his faith as a reasoning to kill people should we also force everyone to say "radical Christian terrorist" as well?
When you cant win, ad hominem.
Yes, if a Christian claims his faith made him do i'd call them radical Christian terrorists.
Except then, 4K would stand for Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
So you need to say those words to know who did it? Somehow without saying words your mind fails to work?
When you cant win, ad hominem.
Since you are uneducated, let me educate you:
Netherlands is one of the first nations to legalize gay marriage in the currently world. It legalized it during the period its population was by a majority compromised of self-identified Christians. No houses were burned, no people were stoned or hung or torched or harmed in the aftermath.
Spain is the 3rd or 4th (can't remember) nation to legalize gay marriage. Christianity isn't only a religion there, it is a core aspect of nationality, culture, history, and the highest indicator of pride, all due to the whole history in regards to Al-Andalus. Christianity takes such complex importance that instead of burning Mosques, Spanish people upgraded them with Christian ornamentation, improved their architecture, and made them renovated them to look even more magnificent, just to serve as a "fuck you, we are better and this is proof" message. The vast majority of the population holds Christianity in high regards.
Such a nation approved of gay marriage, and not a single person was torches, stoned, or lynched in the aftermath.
A few nations more can be listed.
What does this prove? Christians have matured, Christianity has matured through schisms and conflict, and Christians know how to self-regulate their shit.
Self-regulation, the key word here.
Self-regulation, means you take responsibility for your collective and any fuckups that grow out of it.
Self-regulation, means there is no "No True Scotsman" bullshit where you can just arbitrarily decide someone is not a "Muslim" because of their acts, in an attempt to shed yourself of the responsibility to regulate your own retarded collective for the sake of image. Image being some deluded illusionary "religions of peace" meme.
When a Muslim nation has achieved what Spain has, we can talk about "religions of peace".
So flush that rationalist crap down the toilet. Empiricism > Rationalism.
So by them not knowing about them they are choosing to protect their subgroup?
You are making less and less sense as you keep posting.
When you cant win, ad hominem.
I am amazed at you right wing nutcases sudden fake empathy for gay people. Where were you when homosexual sex was illegal? Where were you when the transgendered couldnt use a public restroom? Where were you when two people of the same gender wanted to get married?
Basically, you want to exploit this to war against people of a religion you despise. You don't care about gay people.
Most Christians disagree with the homosexual lifestyle and want to convert them straight. The Mormons in particular have a hilarious set of videos of obviously gay guys that have undergone counseling (I believe they even had a fancy name like "Same Sex Attraction Counseling" or something like that) to make them straight again (supposedly).
I personally am not Christian myself but was raised in a Christian family and one of the strongest tenants they stressed was "Hate the sin but love the sinner."
I might not agree with either group, but there's a big difference between:
1. I don't like what you're doing so I'm going to try to "fix" you.
and
2. I don't like what you're doing so I'm going to hang, behead, stone, or kill you in some other gruesome way.
We some to have lost all touch with degrees of offense in modern society. If China wholesale blocks large portions of the internet then the US is "just as bad" if you can find them blocking a single website. If Iran executes gays then the US is "just as bad" if we won't let transgender people into the bathroom of their choice. It's not the same.
Oh and yay Xbox. I still don't have one (so far I'm PS4 only for this gen) but in particular the single purchase option between Xbox and Win10 is a big draw. Basically I can play the games my computer is good enough for on that and as it ages out I can play on the Xbox for a bit longer until I can upgrade. I ran into much this same problem with Dragon Age Inquisition. I bought that for PC, couldn't play it, and ended up rebuying for the PS4 instead.
