A Century of Surveillance: An Interactive Timeline Of FBI Investigations (muckrock.com)

"Over a century of fear and filing cabinets" at the FBI has been exposed through six years of Freedom of Information Act requests. And now MuckRock founder (and long-time Slashdot reader) v3rgEz writes: MuckRock recently published its 100th look into historical FBI files, and to celebrate they've also compiled a timeline of the FBI's history. It traces the rise and fall of J. Edgar Hoover as well as some of the Bureau's more questionable investigations into famous figures ranging from Steve Jobs to Hannah Arendt. The FBI interviewed 29 people about Steve Jobs (after he was appointed to the President's Export Council in 1991), with several citing his "past drug use," and several individuals also saying Jobs would "distort reality."

You're just pissed Trump gives better then he gets, instead of the rolling over and accepting Democrat demonization that most spineless Republicans do.

    The worst thing you can say about the Russians - if it even was the Russians - is that the data they leaked merely showed the TRUTH about Crooked Liar Hillary! They did the job the New York Times and the Washington Post deliberately failed to do.

    So you're too stupid to be a good hunting dog - you're distracted by an irrelevant squirrel planted for the very purpose of distracting you. BTW, did you see the voting irregularities the Michigan recount uncovered? Democrat-controlled areas with more votes counted than registered voters?

    From Trump's cabinet picks, we're going to see:

    1. Stopping the "war on coal" and other crap - AKA the "war on jobs" that's led to 8 years of a nothing "recovery" with the lowest labor force participation in decades.

    2. The next Supreme Court Justices will be strict originalists. I can't wait until they apply the full-faith-and-credit clause to concealed carry permits. :-D

    3. Turning the money spigot off for "global warming" and actually forcing researchers to DEFEND their claims instead of calling anyone skeptical "heretics".

    4. Actually using the word "illegal immigrant".

    5. Gutting of Obamacare - especially the worst wealth-transfer parts.

    To quote a phrase, Trump won. Elections have consequences.
