NASA Names an Asteroid After 'Star Trek' Actor Wil Wheaton (cnet.com)

"An asteroid going boldly through the universe now carries a new name that honors actor Will Wheaton, who played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation," reports CNET. An anonymous reader quotes their article. The announcement showed up on Twitter Wednesday from NASA's Ron Baalke, who describes himself as a "space explorer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory". Wheaton is in good company with other Star Trek alumni. Asteroid 7307 Takei is named for Sulu actor George Takei and 68410 Nichols gets its name from Nichelle Nichols, who played Uhura. There's also asteroid 4659 Roddenberry for Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
"Today, I found out that I kind of get to be in space and live right here on Earth..." Wheaton wrote on his blog Wednesday, describing his life-long interest in space exploration. "As soon as it gets dark here, I'm going to walk out into my backyard, look up into the sky, just a little above Sirius, and know that, even though I can't see it with my naked eye, it's out there, and it's named after me."

this has been proven false, you took a sample of ONE speech... a farewell speech, where he expresses HIS gratitude and HIS thanks... compared to an inauguration speech where it's about the country. Obama's First inauguration speech had 2 I's, his second had 3, Trump's had 3... Trump refered to himself 3 Times in his speech... not ZERO... you are as bad as trump with the false memories. Trump says I didn't say this, they show the tweet or clip where he did, oh well, I didn't mean it... They were also two different kinds of speeches...

as for Ego? Let's talk mr small hands' penthouse with gold plated toilets, and see who has an ego... his head is so big he can't comprehend anything beyond him. he's declared himself the richest man in the world with ZERO stats to back that up, Trump is an ego, not a person. any humanity he had has long since left his body. he became a joke and a catchphrase during the apprentice,

Quit defending him like you're being abused personally. He's NOT YOU!!!! yes you voted for him. GOOD FOR YOU... you want a cookie? it'll be the HUGEST cookie you ever seen.

To not Question your leaders is EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE WAS AGAINST!!! His platform was to "Drain the swamp" get the non-accountable politicians out of Washington. What does he do the INSTANT he gets into power? BECOMES INACCOUNTABLE, throws temper tantrums because someone dares to say something negative about him. Refuses to accept criticism in the highest office in the country. If that doesn't show that he's not accountable I don't know what is. Accountablility means that you take criticism to heart, own up to your mistakes, take advice, and generally listen to what people actually want, NOT what you tell them they want. The man is trying to be a dictator in a republic. I can only be thankful that there are checks and balances in place to prevent him from becoming a dictator. Heck he's starting to sound like Kim Jong-il with his revisionist history.
