    It's water, acid (ph 2.53), sodium, a ton of sugar, and a little bit of flavor. In short, a horribly vile drink that all should avoid. The other brands are just about the same.

    Americans have a very slow fuse. It takes a lot to get them angry enough to act, but just ask Japan about pissing them off. I seem to remember a couple of nuclear weapons used against them to end their fanatical war against us. Wanta play? Sure, we'll play, but when we do we play to win.

    When I'm shopping and reading reviews, I throw out the 1-star and 5-star reviews, kind of like how they do the judging at the Olympics.

    The reviews being bought are all 5-star (as the article claimed), and the 1-star reviews may be posted by the competition. Stick to reading the ones in the middle from verified purchasers and you'll have a better shot at finding the truth. You could still be mislead, but not as likely.

    Amen and well-said! I don't think we'll be sleeping in fully self-driving cars for at least 10 years, if then.

    In the US the most consistent roads are the interstates, but if you've driven in enough states, you know that the interstates aren't exactly uniform from place to place. We need to see how self-driving cars handle construction zones, rain, snow, and fog on interstates first.

    He's always looked older than he was, but now he looks like he's at least 65. In the video where they were dragging him out of the building he looked like a thin Santa Claus. I guess being trapped inside a building for years takes its toll on a person.

    How did humans find their way around before compasses were invented?

    I've hiked and backpacked all my life, and even been a bit unsure of where I was for a few minutes, but I've never been lost and never had to rely on a compass.

  15. I think you all need to adjust the picture on your televisions. I've never seen anything resembling orange on Trump's head. Maybe the news channels you're watching fuck around with the color to make it look orange, but it's NOT orange.

    Have you ever seen him in person? If you had, you'd never think he had orange hair.

    I own a fairly recent Roku and an Amazon FireTV that's several years old. The FireTV runs circles around the Roku. It's smoother and faster, and has some really nice games. I have both because there are a few things I can get using the Roku that FireTV doesn't have.

  18. I read the whole FA and was disappointed that they didn't show the original and the new side-by-side. Since I'm not that familiar with Helvetica, the new one could very well be exactly like the old one. I'd never be able to tell.

    It will be made public AFTER parts of it are redacted. That's the law, whether you like it or not. Details of grand jury procedures cannot be made public no matter how much you want them to be.

    The Senate and the House may get to see the full unredacted report, but there's no law saying that they be granted that access. One reason is that some Congressmen just can't keep from blabbing stuff to the press that should never be made public.

    I agree with you to some extent, but seeing how the IRS has behaved over the past few years I think I trust TaxAct more than some poorly-written tax program from the government.

    I've been taking garlic supplements and cooking with garlic (I love the taste) for over fifteen years. I can't remember the last time I was bitten by a mosquito. The experts and their research will tell you that it doesn't work, but I am living proof that it does.

    I'm in a motel right now and I'm wondering which has more germs, the ISS or a typical motel room. The motel room has certainly had more visitors and I'd guess that a large percentage of them were not in the best of health. Plus, motel rooms are not exactly sanitized between guests. I'll be lucky to get out of here alive!

    The problem in space is that if something really virulent gets there, or evolves into something virulent there, the relatively small crew will be toast.

    Reality shows are killing cable for a lot of us. That, plus channel drift. Almost none of the cable channels are showing the kind of content they originally did. Try to find a history show on History, or a gardening show on HGTV, or anything other than law enforcement shows on A&E. It's all reality shows now!

    I'm tired of pawn shops, aliens, antiques, metal-working, hot rods, criminals, and real estate shows.
