Intelligence Chairman Accuses Obama Aids of Hundreds of Unmasking Requests (thehill.com)

mi writes: When American spies capture our communications with foreigners, the identities of Americans on the other side of the conversation are generally protected -- if not by bona-fide laws, then certainly by rules and regulations. A transcript of the conversation should have their name replaced with labels like "U.S. person 1". The citizen involved can only be "unmasked" with a good reason. In 2011, Obama relaxed these rules, making it much simpler even for officials without any intelligence role to obtain the identities. Predictably, certain top officials of the Obama Administration abused their access to get this information: "The [House Intelligence] committee has learned that one official, whose position had no apparent intelligence related function, made hundreds of unmasking requests during the final year of the Obama administration," [Intelligence Chairman Devin] Nunes wrote. "Of those requests, only one offered a justification that was not boilerplate."

You are earning your rubles today. Deny everything and pretend to know nothing.

The only things pointing to the DNC leaks being from the inside are widely debunked articles by clickbait sites. Remember when Fox News broke the story about the dead DNC staffer being the leak and contained a bunch of supposedly supporting evidence? That was debunked in less than 4 hours with several verifiable lies, not the least important was that the Fox news reporter made the statement to the person being interviewed and then reported it as if the person being interviewed had said it. Fox news adjacent, making up their own news for 20 years. Hannity still ran with it for a week despite knowing it was a made up story on day 1.

    Russiagate fake news.

There is no "Russian collaboration," there never was. It's all a made-up conspiracy theory worthy of as much derision as "pizzagate."

Look how much people buy into these lies. Even Al Franken was bamboozled the "17 agencies" falsehood because the media kept repeating the lie as fact, and Clapper had to correct him twice during testimony that, no, it was actually only three. Russiagate is the same thing.

Evidence and analysis from Intelligence Community veterans clearly lays out the case that the DNC emails were much more likely a leak than a hack. It's possible that the only source of evidence that Russians were involved, Crowdstrike, a partisan group, simply made it look that way.
