Ask Slashdot: Female Engineers, Could You Please Share Your Thoughts On the Google Memo

Reader joshtops writes: The widely circulated memo written by software engineer James Damore has become the talking point across companies in Silicon Valley, and elsewhere. In an interesting take, The Economist on Tuesday argued with the scientific or otherwise assumptions made by Damore. I was wondering what female engineers -- or females in other STEM beats -- think of the memo.

That sort of total contradiction is common within the ideas that lefties like to push. These contradictions throughout all of their philosophies are good indicators that what they're saying is total bunk.

There is a lot of conflict where various 'disadvantaged' groups meet. For example, feminists and transsexuals come into conflict when male-to-female transgender people who have only partially transitioned [ie they may have surgically created breasts, but still have a large penis and scrotum] want to use women's-only facilities. The transgendered say they're women, despite having penises and scrotums, which the feminists disagree with, leading to conflict.

It also happens when Black Lives Matter protesters come into conflict with homosexual police officers at gay pride parades. The BLM people claim that LGBTQI police should be excluded from participating in pride events because they might intimidate 'people of color' who claim to be stopped by the police too often.

It's all really pathetic and hypocritical.
