But don't you understand? The FBI was evil when they were investigating Hillary Clinton's misuse of classified materials, but now that Comey wrote a book where he's mean to Trump the FBI is good again. Bombing Syria without congressional approval was good when Obama did it but bad now that Trump is doing it. The NSA and CIA were incompetent when their intelligence showed that Hussein had an active nuclear weapons program but suddenly they're completely competent when they claim a massive Russian troll farm is "attacking America."

Clearly anything that goes wrong in the next six years can be blamed on Russian trolls, and not the hypocrisy of the left.

All dissent from the official line should be dismissed as Russian trolls.

And you can bet it will work.
There's also an awful lot wrong with the official line. The US just has just performed an completely unlawful act of aggression against another state. You want to impeach Trump, there's a valid reason. Instead the only claim is that he's not going far enough.

    Exactly.
Also why label them trolls? They seem more like people sharing their opinions. Russians are entitled to opinions too. And, as a US citizen, I am entitled to listen to them if I want to.

Using the ubiquitous interconnectivity of social media to win the hearts and minds of the public is so efficient that it would be astonishing if any government, corporation, or lobbying concern opted out of exploiting the forum.

Look. I know it's the evil Russians and all, but do you suppose the Pentagon is the right outfit to cast the first stone?

I have come to realise that the problem of troll farms can't be dismissed as easily as I want, no matter how I would hate to give credence to the Pentagon.
A stream of elements made me realise this eventually, not one in particular ; but this video is a strong element that reinforces the thesis of Russian influence. It circulated widely, posted by multiple accounts.

The hilarious part is that they had given up, but as they investigated that guy Weiner who was sending dick pics to underage girls, they found classified materials on his laptop that had been left there by his then wife, which was one of Clinton's aides and did not have the clearance to have such materials in the first place.

But let's ignore that blatant violation of national security, let's instead try to establish that because Trump's neighbor's third cousin once bought vodka in a liquor store, Trump is clearly a russian spy.

No, this site is strongly of the intolerant social conservative for a long time now. Anti women, anti minorities, just a whole lotta anti. Mix that in with the heavy number of trolls just looking to stir up a fight from whatever angle. Maybe this is the minority, but they are in the majority of early posts for sure.
