First Confirmed Image of a Newborn Planet Revealed (theguardian.com)

Astronomers say they now have the first confirmed image of the formation of a planet. The Guardian reports: The startling snapshot shows a bright blob -- the nascent planet -- traveling through the dust and gas surrounding a young star, known as PDS70, thought to be about 370 light years from Earth. The black circle in the centre of the image, to the left of the planet, is a filter to block the light from the star, enabling other features of the system to be seen.

"These discs around young stars are the birthplaces of planets, but so far only a handful of observations have detected hints of baby planets in them," said Miriam Keppler of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Germany, a lead author of the research published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. However, other ground-based observations have not yielded conclusive evidence. "The problem is that until now, most of these planet candidates could just have been features in the disc," she said. "The advantage of our detection is that we have detected [the new planet] with several different observing instruments, different filter bands and different years," she added.
This research was presented in two papers, entitled "Discovery of a planetary-mass companion within the gap of the transition disk around PDS 70" and "Orbital and atmospheric characterization of the planet within the gap of the PDS 70 transition disk," both to be published in Astronomy & Astrophysics.

What is the angle of the transition disk of PDS 70 relative to Earth over time?

I used several translating tools to translate startling to my own language. It means something along the lines of extraordinary. Synonym search in English confirms this: surprising, astonishing, amazing, unexpected, unforeseen, staggering, shocking, stunning.

None of those synonyms have anything to do with jerking off.

that is homemade solid rocket fuel. it's dangerous. but the method the op stated isn't as dangerous as you make it out to be. replace it with gunpowder, and it will make a quick flash and smoke. this wuld be more powerful, but since it is not contained, it will not explode, just burn and smoke like the op said.

Probably not that different It's further out than Uranus, and Uranus has an orbital period of 84 years so in the intervening time it'll only have made something like 4-5 orbits.
