A Student Was Rejected By A College Because Of China's 'Social Credit System' (buzzfeed.com)
An anonymous reader shares a report: A prestigious college in Beijing that reportedly tried to bar a student because his father was on a government blacklist is causing huge controversy in China. According to state media reports, a high school student with the surname Rao in the eastern city of Wenzhou, in Zhejiang province, was accepted on the back of his score in China's fiendishly difficult and incredibly competitive national college entrance exam. But before his family could enjoy Rao's accomplishments, the college notified them he may not be able to attend because of his father's poor credit standing -- the father owed 200,000 RMB (about $30,000) to a local bank, and had been put on a blacklist dubbed the "lost trust list" for individuals with bad social standing, state media reported.
Blacklists are a key feature of China's controversial "social credit system" -- a set of government programs that sets up both incentives and disincentives to encourage people to behave in socially desirable ways. Social credit in today's China involves government programs that collect and analyze data from different parts of people's lives, including their education history, compliance with traffic rules, criminal history and debt. It has raised serious concerns over individual privacy rights.

I'm amazed at left-wing Ameriburgers and their detachment from reality, perspective, or relativity, when it comes to Trump.
Used to be that left-wing Ameriburgers put focus on global atrocities and gave attention to actual war criminals in the world some time back.
Now they are too busy referring to Trump as the next Hitler to bother with actual Hitlers now running amok under the smokescreen:
Middle Eastern leaders are gassing their people,
Myanmar is genociding Muslims,
Yemen is being bombed and blasted into becoming a nation-equivalent of Auschwitz,
African leaders are genociding tens of thousands a week because they belong to an opposing tribe;
Mexican cartels and other South and Central American cartels, all silently tolerated or even supported by leaders in those regions, are killing thousands daily including such tactics as cutting people's limbs and heads off and stuffing them into acid barrels;
while both of the above two collectives are killing male families and taking women to stuff them into breeding farms to be raped and produce child soldiers.
Meanwhile i'm supposed to believe some orange cheeto is Hitler whose only accomplishments in comparison to all aforementioned is spewing dumb shit out of his mouth to troll everyone while accidentally reducing the potential for global nuclear war with North Korea due to his crony businessman lingo influencing his twin over in North Korea.
Speaking of North Korea, i'm yet to hear of Trump being accused of killing his relatives whether near or far.
