House GOP Campaign Committee Says Its Emails Were Hacked During 2018 Campaign (talkingpointsmemo.com)

The National Republican Congressional Committee was hacked this election cycle, it admitted Tuesday afternoon. From a report: "The NRCC can confirm that it was the victim of a cyber intrusion by an unknown entity. The cybersecurity of the Committee's data is paramount, and upon learning of the intrusion, the NRCC immediately launched an internal investigation and notified the FBI, which is now investigating the matter," NRCC spokesman Ian Prior said in a statement.

"To protect the integrity of that investigation, the NRCC will offer no further comment on the incident." The major breach included thousands of emails from four senior aides, according to Politico, which first reported the hacks. An outside vendor noticed and alerted the committee in April. The committee then launched an internal investigation and alerted the FBI.

Weird how when the RNC is hacked, no one discovers any evidence of any wrong-doing.

Yet when the DNC is hacked, we discover that their primaries are a sham and that the results are pre-determined.

And yet I keep on hearing the left claim that the right is as corrupt as they are...

Funny how the Dem candidates did not seem to have access to the hacked emails and how Fox news was not discussing them on a minute-by-minute schedule, but hey let's just try and pretend that there is any equivalency between this and what was done to the Dems in 2016

Are you out of your mind, the President just sent the military to protect Texas from 5,000 job and safety seeking terrorists. How is that the ability to survive on its own.

It looks like you missed out on the whole "supremacy clause" discussion when Arizona attempted to enforce border security under our previous Dear Leader. I'm sure the state of Texas would be more than capable of protecting itself from the caravan invasion if allowed to do so by the Federal government.

First, this is fake news. The GOP wants to look like victims so that their mindless supporters can say, "Look! It's not Russia but some "leftists" or some such bullshit! We're being hacked by Leftists backed by Soros!!"

Second, it gives them a story, "It was those Leftists Silicon Valley people!" and fail to mention that those "leftists" were pay rolling their campaigns.

Third, the Republicans have no credibility of late. The last Republican who had any credibility died a few days ago and was attended by his idiot sons and President Trump.

I base my opinions on data and actions. The Republicans is FAIL. (Yes, I chose that grammar on purpose. Think about it.)
I slam the Republicans because I'm all butthurt that they aren't the party I signed up for years ago.
I'm an EX-Republican! When they get off of the crazy train that was started by Newt, THEN i will think about it.

    Until then, Democrat!

In your mind, maybe. Odd how you've not been able to convince a court of that. Didn't Trump just win in SCOTUS over his ability to ignore any/all environmental laws when building the border wall? Yes... yes he did.

Really? it's been a long two years of hearing that claim, all the while, you've been wrong about a whole bunch of other things:

Sure a shame Obama created the precedent of so much of what Trump has now done.

Even worse, because of this I'm now expecting Trump any day to put forth the theory that this somehow means that the Democrats did not actually win the House in the recent election and the Republican victory was stolen. No, no, no, the ones that actually setup meetings with fake premises to try and do something (not yet apparent) to ensnare Trump campaign peoples. You knlw, the ones that approved travel documents for Russian lawyers to come and talk with Democrat operatives, Obama administration people, and then a meeting with Trumpies that went nowhere...

Those ones. Which then led to engaging British ex- and ex-officio intelligence operatives, Australian diplomats, and a few US Democrat operatives, to try and bait more Trumpies into anything that could be mistaken for interest in opposition research, then drafting a US Web journalism outlet to pretend it had confirmation of this, so that they could convince a FISA court they had actionable intelligence, when in fact they had merely fabrications and Democrat opposition research material.

Oh yeah, those same ones. That;s right, I forget.
