Severn Bridge, a Main Route Between England and Wales, Shuts as Drone Flown From Tower (bbc.com)

A main route between England and Wales was closed after a man climbed a bridge and flew a drone from the top. An anonymous reader shares a report: Traffic was stopped on the M48 -- the older of two Severn crossings -- because of "concern for welfare," police said. The man, in his 20s, came down voluntarily from the 47m (154ft) bridge tower and was arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance. Highways England said it was deeply concerned and that "a person has put their life at serious risk". "The incident was quickly spotted on our security cameras and reported to police and thankfully there was no injury or worse on this occasion," it said. "Appropriate security is in place on the bridge, we are liaising with Avon and Somerset Police and will be undertaking investigations to determine if any damage was caused during the incident." Police said: "Officers attended the M48 Severn Bridge at 08:10 this morning after concerns were raised for a man who appeared to have climbed one of the towers and was flying a drone off it."

Flying a drone isn't hacking. It is consumerism at its worst.

The end all be all of government BS. Government has without exception used this excuse to exert unreasonable control over people and inconvenience them.

someone is up in the rafters... STOP EVERYTHING!!!!
why?.. concern for welfare you moron!!!

Would be much cheaper if government just ignored this slob or waited for him to come down an arrest him without all of this "over reactive BS". Instead the go to solution is to cost EVERYONE involved way more time and expense than is even remotely necessary! It even has elicited some people to hate the 1st moron MORE than the morons acting even MORE moronically than the original moron!

It seems like everything these days is pure over reaction now. Someone said a word you didn't like? Well that is obviously CODE for "insert your favorite problem now" People keep doing something you don't like but does not harm you? Great convince a politician to make the tax payers pay for a big ole policy against it! Someone is up a bridge... stop traffic!

Things are just going to happen folks, over reacting is always more counter productive than if the problem is general ignored. If people want to risk their lives, let them or fine them. I would call it the stupid tax but that one already exists and if you have to ask what that tax is... then you are are not smart enough to understand what the stupid tax is is or why it exists. Morons are all around you... lets just buy them Darwins Awards for when they kill themselves!

Damn helpful cops and safety laws to protect stupid people.
They're the reason we don't have nearly enough Darwin Prizes.

As long as we have a 2nd Amendment and Trump supporters here in the US, there will always be plenty of Darwin Awards. Don't you worry.

What is he running for this time, fattest prisoner in ADX Florence? Least believable traitor in US history? Ugliest whore daughter award? Most loveless marriage ever?

Because once he's convicted of the many hundreds of felonies he's under sealed indictment for, he can never run for office in this country again. Good luck in Moscow, Trumpski traitors!
