Kids From At Least 112 Countries, Including the US, Go on Strike To Protest Climate Change
It started 29 weeks ago when 16-year-old Swede Greta Thunberg began skipping school on Fridays to protest climate change by standing outside of her nation's parliament building. Live updates, from The Guardian. Further reading: Thousands of scientists are backing the kids striking for climate change.
Kids belong in school.
Kids do not understand it all.
Kids have to learn.
Kids need to be reminded by the authorities, and prosecuted if necessary, to be in school.
The latter does not happen, at least it is not reported in the news I saw.
The idea that we can, in a few years, undo the effects of mankind's activities w.r.t. fossil fuels for over a century is ridiculous.
The idea that this activity plays a great part in 'climate change' aka 'global warming' is debatable: look at the sun.
How much more power does it send in our direction?
Did you count the sun spots?
Policies that limit pollution. What are you afraid of, economic catastrophe? Mommy telling you what to do?
And "heard somewhere?" rather than policy that basically every informed expert on the planet agrees must be undertaken but businesses, shockingly, do not want? Take your disingenuous shit somewhere else.
