There are many reasons for this trend..In the long-run me thinks it is good for both.
One reason which is not publicised that much is the VISA problems that these companies face for Indian workers to be relocated to US/UK on an assignment.
Hmm..The reason we folks work @ IT companies is, we 'dream' of going to West and earn a few quick bucks. Now those plans wud be sc**ed:-((
