    It is mentioned, and it is certainly not the best. But there are missing messengers: from the large messengers, Viber and Line recently switched to e2e encryption. How well it is implemented remains open for debate of course.

    If you can't compile Signal yourself that's only due to lack of knowledge on your part. I compile my own Signal version (with some slight changes) with each new release. All the required tools can be downloaded for free.

    Try Silence (former SMSSecure): https://github.com/SilenceIM/S... . It is a fork from TextSecure, the predecessor of Signal, and uses the Signal protocol over SMS. You still need phone providers, so technically you need servers, but you need no account and no registrations.

    I don't. I like to be able to use most functionality when I'm offline (out of country, bad network coverage). Not all applications need to be web-centered. Playing music or video does not need a network connection. Playing most games does not need it too. I read books on my phone, offline. That's better for your privacy as well.

    Expect the app to have a piracy rate over 95% if both conditions are met. (4) means copying the apk once and install it everywhere. If (4) is required to check a license online, expect piracy rates to drop to 85%. If you make it Lucky Patcher resistant (not trivial) piracy rates might drop even to 80%.

    Yes: those companies might product non-halal products too, and others might boycot the company because they service moslims. Trump is not the only one who sees the dangers of islam.

    The European parliament and the commission are two very different things. The parliament is chosen directly by the people, the commission is appointed by the governments, which in turn are in most EU countries indirectly chosen by the parliaments. In practice, the commission tends to be anti-democratic and operating without much oversight.

    Usually 4 years. The 5 year period seems to be used mostly in the former soviet union and its satellites, while in western countries 4 years seems to be the norm. I have no idea if there has been any research done what the optimal length is (if such a number can be determined anyway).

    For those outside the US, Hillary is the hawk urging for "regime change" and invading other countries. With her as president, it won't take long before the next war(s) start and other countries are called upon to clean the US-caused mess. Trump is more focused inward, proposes a more isolationalist view and seems less likely to mess up anywhere else on the planet.

    Sweden has been known before to do as the US commands. Like in the scientology case: http://merlin.obs.coe.int/iris... The government was corrected by the courts, but the documents in question could not be requested anymore as before.

    The EU at least allows members to leave peacefully if they want. The last time a number of US states wanted to leave, they were conquered by the remaining part of the empire.

    The US is an empire in decline. Military spending is becoming so large it will collapse on itself. Many examples in the past have shown this road, starting with the Roman empire up to the USSR, including it's lunatic emperors, party secretary's or presidents.
