I don't remember who the comedian was but his material included some great things about this topic. I know I'm gonna mess this up but here I go:
Last time I went to the movies they had an advertisement before the movie that went like this: "Please don't download movies of off the Internet, the people behind the scenes need to feed their families... etc..."
Wait wait wait, are you telling me that I could have downloaded this movie for free? Where can I get more info? LOL
Sorry if I don't get the point you're trying to make but the statement seems fine to me. MAC addresses do not need to be unique unless they are within a single subnet. There is a possibility that in fact all the xbox360 MACs are unique but there is no way to know that.
So true about all the crap anti-malware/spyware software out there.
I'm so tired of going to somebody's house and seeing 10 icons on the desktop for this anit-crap SW, then running my own little free tool and finding hundreds of threats.
Just wondering, since I switched to Linux a couple of months ago (newest Ubuntu distro), what threats do I still have to watch out for? (all I use is firefox plus I have two ports forwarded from my router for DL purpuses).
Thanks
