You can still be sealed to multiple wives in the Mormon Church if you are legally divorced from each wife. "Sealed" means "married for time and all eternity".
Divorce does not annul a sealing.
(This is not to suggest that Mormon men divorce their wives in order to rack up multiple wives, that would just be stupid. But those Mormon men who do get divorced for one reason or another are seen, theologically speaking, as having multiple wives.)
Women are only allowed one "for time and all eternity" sealing while they are alive. Previous sealings need to be annulled to undergo a new "for time and all eternity" sealing, or all future sealings must be "for time only". But one year after the woman's death, she is re-sealed by proxy "for time and all eternity" to all of her legal spouses.
This and more is all contained in the "leaked" document which has been online for over 10 years.
The markings are the square, the compass, the rule, and the plumb line (or level). They square and compass are over each breast, the rule and level are over the navel and right knee.
The Masons are more open and educated as to the meanings of these symbols than are the Mormons.
Also, most Mormons (myself included) believe that the practice of plural marriage will be re-instituted prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (some suspect it will be re-instituted after the collapse of the U.S. economy, when the Saints are called to gather in Zion: Jackson County, Missouri [Kansas City]).
Mormons do continue to practice plural marriage, they just wait until the afterlife because we're too wicked to practice it in this life! (In our modern culture, this practice is called "divorce".)

Moses 5:
30 And Satan sware unto Cain that he would do according to his commands. And all these things were done in secret.
31 And Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan, and he gloried in his wickedness.
32 And Cain went into the field, and Cain talked with Abel, his brother. And it came to pass that while they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and slew him.
49 For Lamech having entered into a covenant with Satan, after the manner of Cain, wherein he became Master Mahan, master of that great secret which was administered unto Cain by Satan; and Irad, the son of Enoch, having known their secret, began to reveal it unto the sons of Adam;
50 Wherefore Lamech, being angry, slew him, not like unto Cain, his brother Abel, for the sake of getting gain, but he slew him for the oath's sake.
You are wrong. All the sealings are valid. This is the most misunderstood matter of Mormon doctrine.
In plural marriage, women have multiple husbands!
It's even in Doctrine and Covenants 132:
41 And as ye have asked concerning adultery, verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man receiveth a wife in the new and everlasting covenant, and if she be with another man, and I have not appointed unto her by the holy anointing, she hath committed adultery and shall be destroyed.
All Russian royalty and aristocracy trace their descent from the ancient kings of Ireland. So you've actually got it backwards!
In fact, all of European nobility trace their descent from Japheth and Magog through the Irish genealogies (there is no exception to this rule, not even for the Queen of England who is thought to be a German princess but whose genealogy is Irish).
The Orange men of Ireland were first to come to this country (unlike the Irish Catholic that came after the potato famine, the first Irish to come here have forgotten their heritage and consider themselves "American" rather than "Irish"), so we are all dispossessed royal sovereigns in a foreign land. If only we demanded our tax-exempt livelihoods like Joseph Smith, Jr., tried to implement in Nauvoo, IL (where ever male in the Church was a tax-exempt priest like the old "ecclesiastical princes" from which most Americans descend).
Joseph Smith, Jr., descends from the Gaelic bardic family of Ireland's Clan King. Joseph Smith is really Joseph M'Gowan. His family would have maintained their oral traditions into this country. Joseph Smith likely knew more about his contemporaries' family histories than they knew themselves, and he would have known most of Ireland's secret history (Atholl lodges anyone?).
While Joseph Smith, Jr., descends from a bardic family of Clan King (M'Gowans were bards for the O'Connors), I descend from the princely family of Clan King (the O'Moores, our bards being chosen from the Macrossans/M'Crossans/MacCrossans [also called the Cosbies/Cosbys]).
PS: Parent: You know nothing of Joseph Smith, Jr.'s background or his descent from the bardic family of Irish Clan King. There's more to the story than fewls like you think...
I too am Mormon. This manual has been on the Internet for more than a decade. NOTHING NEW TO SEE HERE!
One thing in this manual that most Mormons still don't understand, though, is the Temple proxy sealing policies. One year after a woman dies, she can be sealed (Mormonese for "married", which comes from the Christian doctrine of the sealing power of the Holy Spirit of Promise) to all of her legal spouses by proxy (temple work for the dead) "for time and all eternity".
Most Mormons understand that men remain sealed "for time and all eternity" to their various spouses even if they divorce, re-marry, and re-seal (they have to get a clearance of sealing from the First Presidency for every sealing after their first). But when women re-marry and re-seal, they must get a cancellation/nullification of sealing from their previous spouse before they can be sealed in this life "for time and all eternity" to their new spouse (otherwise, women are sealed "for time only" to future spouses if they do not wish to get an annulment of their previous sealing).
Most Mormons take this to mean that "plural marriage" involves only men having multiple wives and not women having multiple husbands, but they are wrong, and the bishop's Church Handbook of Instruction proves that they are wrong, as women are re-sealed "for time and all eternity" to all of their spouses upon death.
By the legalistic logic of Mormon sealings, I will have 3 fathers and 3 mothers in the hereafter (both of my parents are in their 3rd marriage). But my family won't be taken away by CPS/DHS (as in Texas) because we have the appropriate divorce records on file.
So, according to Mormon practice and Mormon doctrine, women have multiple husbands in the afterlife!
Here is the Moore-Helkenberg numberological matrix, prime number sieve, and pattern panorama. This layout of the natural number system predicts ALL of the primes and MANY of the semiprimes based only upon the position of the numbers in the matrix. See comments below for the algorithms that select out the prime number candidates (all of the primes, some of the semiprimes).
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict;
my $file = $ARGV[0] or print "Usage:./numbers.pl FILENAME\n" and exit; open(FILE, ">$file") or die "cannot open file $ARGV[0]";
foreach my $x ( 0.. 1000000 ) {
my @col;
foreach my $y ( 1.. 9 ) {
$col["$y"] = $x * 9 + $y;
}
Here's another algorithm that produced an un-collapsed view of the prime number candidate distribution. This algorithm shows the octet groups of prime candidates within the natural number system imposed upon a 9-by-n matrix. And the tables are numerological, all numbers add numerologically to the column in which they reside.
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict;
my $file = $ARGV[0] or print "Usage:./candidates-by-row.pl FILENAME\n" and exit; open(FILE, ">>$file") or die "cannot open file $ARGV[0]";
foreach my $row (0.. 1000000) {
my $base = $row * 9;
my $mod10 = $row % 10;
my $one = undef;
my $two = undef;
my $four = undef;
my $five = undef;
my $seven = undef;
my $eight = undef;
Here you go: Prime number candidates in a 9-by-n matrix of the natural numbers. Read 'em and weep, science! ALL of the primes and MANY of the semiprimes are found at any row x in the matrix!
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict;
my $file = $ARGV[0] or print "Usage:./candidates-by-10.pl FILENAME\n" and exit; open(FILE, ">>$file") or die "cannot open file $ARGV[0]";
for (my $x = 0; $x <= 1000000; $x += 10) {
foreach my $mod10 ( 8, 10, 12, 14 ) {
my $row = $x + $mod10;
my $base = $row * 9 + 1;
my $one = $base;
my $two = $base + 10;
my $four = $base + 30;
my $five = $base + 40;
my $seven = $base + 60;
my $eight = $base + 70;
And at age 27, and only 3 days ago, I discovered the most efficient prime number sieve and the pattern for the distribution of primes within the natural number system! Here I come, mega-cash!
I have just discovered the secret of numerology and the matrix it forms to predict the distribution of primes and semiprimes within the natural number system. I now have several simple and efficient algorithms that calculate "prime number candidates" out to infinity. ALL of the primes and MANY of the semiprimes are recovered by the pattern of octet candidate grouping. I think this may also be the generalization that relates the Zeta functions and Dirichlet series.
Where's my Mega-Cash prize for Revolutionary Scientific Breakthrough?!?
My new prime number sieve is worth at least $85 billion, as I figure it -- and I'm a 27-year-old non-mathematician programmer.
I know Mormons were among the first religious to adopt Einstein's Relativity because it proved what Joseph Smith was saying about chaotic matter being the foundation of element, and that intelligence was co-eternal with matter, and that matter can neither be created nor destroyed but only organized and re-organized.
Einstein's Theory of Relativity said nothing of the sort.
What's this about E = mc^2? Matter/energy is not created or destroyed, only changes form, etc. Similar enough, I suppose.
Prior to Einstein, and certainly in Joseph Smith's day, the Scientific Establishment as it then existed was resoundingly Creatio Ex Nihilo. Joseph Smith refuted Creatio Ex Nihilo nearly 100 years before Einstein proved it false. So what if Joseph Smith was another half-a-century ahead of Einstein in also proposing Chaos Theory.
There are also lots of Joneses that are Protestant, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Shintoists, Confucianists, Islamist, atheist, or agnostic. Again, your point is?
I had no point. I also grew up with some half-black Joneses. So I also know there are lots of those, too!
But don't trust those Mormons when they tell you that you are lucky to live in Zion, the New Jerusalem... That's in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, where I live.;-)
??????? What are you talking about? Are you assuming that everyone who lives in Utah is Mormon?........ That would be a pretty big stretch.
Everybody who lives in Utah is eventually Mormon?? I know Mormons were among the first religious to adopt Einstein's Relativity because it proved what Joseph Smith was saying about chaotic matter being the foundation of element, and that intelligence was co-eternal with matter, and that matter can neither be created nor destroyed but only organized and re-organized. I also know Mormons at BYU were among the first to use Linux-based supercomputers to collide neutron stars in order to discover new high-energy particles. I also know there are lots of Mormon Joneses.
But it's cool if you're not a Mormon...;) I'll still give you my eyes...
You ask the learned doctors why they say the world was made out of nothing; and they will answer, "Doesn't the Bible say He created the world?" And they infer, from the word create, that it must have been made out of nothing. Now, the word create came from the baurau which does not mean to create out of nothing; it means to organize; the same as a man would organize materials and build a ship. Hence, we infer that God had materials to organize the world out of chaos--chaotic matter, which is element, and in which dwells all the glory. Element had an existence from the time he had. The pure principles of element are principles which can never be destroyed; they may be organized and re-organized, but not destroyed. They had no beginning, and can have no end. . . . [T]he mind of man--the immortal spirit. Where did it come from? All learned men and doctors of divinity say that God created it in the beginning; but it is not so: the very idea lessens man in my estimation. I do not believe the doctrine; I know better. Hear it, all ye ends of the world; for God has told me so . . . We say that God himself is a self-existent being. Who told you so? It is correct enough; but how did it get into your heads? Who told you that man did not exist in like manner upon the same principles? Man does exist upon the same principles. God made a tabernacle and put a spirit into it, and it became a living soul. . . . How does it read in the Hebrew? It does not say in the Hebrew that God created the spirit of man. It says 'God made man out of the earth and put into him Adam's spirit, and so became a living body.' The mind or the intelligence which man possesses is [co-eternal] with God himself. I know that my testimony is true . . . Is it logical to say that the intelligence of spirits is immortal, and yet that it had a beginning? The intelligence of spirits had no beginning, neither will it have an end. That is good logic. That which has a beginning may have an end. There never was a time when there were not spirits; for they are [co-eternal] with our Father in heaven. . . . I take my ring from my finger and liken it unto the mind of man--the immortal part, because it has no beginning. Suppose you cut it in two; then it has a beginning and an end; but join it again, and it continues one eternal round. So with the spirit of man. As the Lord liveth, if it had a beginning, it will have an end. All the fools and learned and wise men from the beginning of creation, who say that the spirit of man had a beginning, prove that it must have an end; and if that doctrine is true, then the doctrine of annihilation would be true. But if I am right, I might with boldness proclaim from the house-tops that God never had the power to create the spirit of man at all. God himself could not create himself. -- Joseph Smith, Jr.
