  1. Re:Good scenes on Best Sci-Fi Space Battles? · · Score: 2, Interesting

2.) Even though most ships have magic intertial/gravitic control force field thingies, there are probably still structural reasons to keep the ship oriented a certain way while it's moving.

But in space, moving at constatnly velocity is the exact same as being motionless (although what "motionless" means in what context is a good point as noted by the other post). As such, the structural integrity of the ship would have to be designed to support the direction of acceleration not motion.

As for the most powerful thrusters being located aft - why? Why even have an aft? Why not make the ship radially (or for that matter, spherically) symmetric?

Why not MP3 Sushi Server? It is an Aqua frontend to GnuMP3D. Works great on my G5. Just set its source directory to your iTunes Music Folder.

But your detailing a problem with upper management, not the tracking system. If you are worried about someone up the chain firing employee 668007 because they were 5 minutes late, either don't be late, or get new upper management.

Grab a IEEE1394 IDE bridge, preferably bus powered. Linux should support these devices and they are easily, externally hot-swappable. I've had success with the SuperDriveDock from Wiebetech, although there are certainly cheaper models out there.

Check me if I'm wrong Sammy, but I don't see how making employees sign in and out is all that terrible. Would it make people feel better if these employees pushed a button to sign in instead of having their palms scanned?
