I like this idea. As of the new year I moved to Ubuntu, but still have Windows XP installed for the sole purpose of playing games. When I wanna play a game I have to reboot and load windows up. Its a pain in the ass, but I definitely like using Ubuntu over Windows. This solution would allow me to rid myself of Windows for good.
Cool site, however it pegs my CPU as soon as I click on any of the menus, and they come down really slow. I'm using latest Firefox under Windoze XP on a 2.8 p4.
I'd say that the VC has been successful for Nintendo, I mean they are selling games for $5 minimum a pop, it's not like they spend any significant amount of time developing the games. At $5 a piece thats $23.5 million dollars they made doing practically nothing.
Just because somebody chooses to not program after hours does not mean they don't have passion. Nor does it mean they suck. http://teddziuba.com/2009/10/i-dont-code-in-my-free-time.html
I put together a custom NAS using a Chenbro case and Zotac Ion motherboard with Atom 330. It uses about 30 watts, this case has 2 hot swappable 3.5" hdd bays and an internal 2.5" drive bay for your OS drive. I'm running it headless with Ubuntu Server, it just sits in my closet, barely puts off any heat. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811123114&cm_re=chenbro-_-11-123-114-_-Product
