Trust me (me being an indian) that it doesnt break any laws. Not because there are no laws in india against child labour or that they are not implemented(OK fine many times they arent) but whatever is happening here is not considered child labour in india. here it is considered normal for parents to show off how smart their kids are. it is quiet possible that the kid will get a prize from the government or a publicized meeting with a local minister.

How different is it from releasing the concert cd's later?? The only thing different seems to be the timing... they are getting them out immediately..
In case you didnt read the article, the pdas werre donated by HP. So cell phones being cheaper doesnt really hold true here.
Though gotta agree most ppl who want to keep track of each other would prefer a cell fone to this.
