  1. Y-Wings on Star Wars Episode 2 Starts Shooting · · Score: 1

Okay, at the risk of being the biggest childish dork in here...do you think that they'll have the Y-Wing fighters in this one? Supposedly the Y-Wings were "an old design, still the mainstay of the Alliance forces". And from watching the Naboo fighters, which do you think would win in a dogfight or general battle? The Y-Wings may be old in the "later" SW films, but they should be new in Ep 2/3 I would think. And while they're at it, what about other tech like the Star Destroyers and stuff? Just wondering.

  2. Slightly OT: Number Nine and the Sega CD on Goodbye, Number Nine · · Score: 1

Many of you may have noticed this before, but did you ever stick one of the older Sega Genesis CD's in a CD player and play the audio track? It's a bunch of voices saying "Number Nine" backwards. Being the unobservant poseur that I am, I wonder if Number Nine had something to do with Sega's graphics rendering...it might have been specific games that did that, but for the life of me I can't remember which.

  3. Re:Did they ever get home? on 'Dungeons and Dragons' Returns! · · Score: 1

Y'know, there were like three or four times that they "saw" home, and at least once where they ended up actually back at the amusement park, but since Venger followed them in, they had to go back to draw him back into the D&D world. But I don't think they ever made it permanently back home. At least that's my recollection. Ulysses 31...man, I didn't think ANYONE remembered that one...at one point, I thought I just dreamed it up. 4. Re:Pagliacci: A joke for Mary Kay on 'Kyle's Mom' is Dead at Age 38 · · Score: 1

Y'know, whenever I get depressed, I read that book again. Somehow it usually brings me out of it. Maybe it's 'cause it reminds me that my life doesn't suck as well as some peoples' lives do, and that no matter how much the world seems to be going down the tubes, it could probably be worse. If you think you understand them, walk a mile in their shoes and think again.
