I got my Ipod 5th gen. 30Go from freepay.com for 5$, and I still feel frustrated because I cannot add photos from any other computer than mine, cannot add music files without using Itunes and still have to keep a damn double copy of my music & photos if I don't want to wait an hour every time I want to add a file on it.
Apple is no better than MS, they just have cooler adds.

It's already been 15 years I've been programming (Logo :), Basic, C++, Fortran, Caml, Java, Ruby ...) and I now have the impression that I never really understood programming before having known rails.
So please, try it at least 2 hours, and you'll be amazed by how fun, efficient and beautiful it is.

Everytime I heard someone talking about REST, migrations, rake, capistrano, scaffolding, ActiveRecord, AJAX, routes & nice URL's, I just thought "Whatever! Those are just buzz/hype words without any meaning, and it won't change my programming life".
But it sure did, and I think noone can ever understand it before giving it a fair chance.

Thanks a lot DHH and keep up the good work!

Please take a look at "4. Why is the sea level higher off the coast of Bermuda than New York?" and "14. How much does sea level rise if all the world's ice melts?" there
However, when land ice melts the distribution of the mass of water around the global ocean is by no means uniform. A large melting would result in a modification in the Earth's gravity field which would result in the sea level change being higher in some places than in others.

As always, were talking about _global_ warming. It means you can neither confirm nor infirm it by saying:
"Oh baby, It's cold outside!" in a given location at a given time. Though scientists can forecast global trends, they cannot tell you for sure "It's gonna snow in August in Alabama".
And global warming doesn't mean warming in every place on earth either.
Poles and winters will get more affected than summers and tropical regions.
You know what? Even the sea level can rise in some point while dropping in another.

The definition of renewable energy is basically : "If you can use an energy today without preventing mankind from using it tomorrow, then it's renewable. If you end up depleting the source after a *very* long time, it's sustainable. Otherwise it's just as good as coal, oil or uranium."

So, biomass is only renewable if you mind planting the same amount of trees you used. Standard nuclear fission isn't renewable, while fusion and breeding fission are. Wind/solar/tide/wave/hydraulic energy are renewable too, while geothermal energy is only considered sustainable.

Using your definition, even you and me are "renewable". We just have to wait till someone looks like one of us!
