Ah but they sure got more nuclear missles than the US which got Bush running around trying to cut that number since there is a chance some of them can be launched accidently.
But, LWN did not post the article to get a profit. They've been operating for 4.5 years and haven't charged/profited a dime from anyone. LWN is just a news site which got 5 full-time writers working for free. The article stated that they are forced to find PAYING full-time jobs since they do not get any revenue from LWN. And btw, there are alot of sites on the net who offer free content that have a donation link.
Maybe you should research before you open your idiot mouth first. They have been operating a non-for-profit model for 4.5 years. They always had a donation link like most big free news/software sites. All they did was say that they cannot work for free anymore so the writers are gonna go and find PAYING full-time jobs.
Hey now... If they go after linking sites, why don't they sue all the search engines as well since if you search for "mp3", the search engine is bound to find sites with downloable mp3s. This is the dumbest thing they could do since a court already ruled in one case that a website is not responsible what's on the other end of the link. I don't rememeber what case was about but I remember that it happend;)
Um.. Technically they're not stealing since the file still remains at the company's computer. You have to deprive the person of his goods to make it stealing but that didn't happen here did it. So all those charges of stealing are bullcrap.
Will this nonsense ever end? All I see is a company who wanted to register earth.com and found out it was already taken. Some companies are just snobs to the highest level.
I'm wondering whatever happend to freespeech. It's almost the same thing as when big companies sue people who have domain names with some words that the company registered. I think there should a petition to promote Freespeech to a higher level, to protect the people from all this nonsense.
From what /. norwegians say, Norway doesn't have a Computer Crime Division.
Yep,
No one but the US got anti-air technology good going there dexter.
If you were on the list you'd feel alot different.

Hey,
Then the US is guilty of terrorism at dropping 2 nuclear bombs on japan since they hit noncombatant targets to instill fear and terror.

Down with RIAA and their puny lawyers.

Only question here is why would u want a 10 gig removable drive? What would u put onto those 10 gigs? Aren't 3.6 gigs enough?
HMM...
I know for a fact that a russian guy made tetris.. and those guys just stole it and lisenced it..
They just suck.
Will this nonsense ever end?

Hmm...

Hrmm...
I'm trying to figure out why those guys didn't attack some of their Defensive systems or something.. Then it would be a real WAR.
I'd like to see the log of it too.
