Um... maybe it's just me, but the image of a cat rampantly having it's way with the fish in the bowl doesn't convey the notion of "security" very well IMHO. Admittedly, the picture is quite cool, but just incongruent with the rest of the cover:)
Yeah, I agree here. I downloaded it and tried it out but it really didn't feel as good as graffiti for two basic reasons:
1) It lacks the intuitive feel of graffiti where the input strokes resemble their corresponding characters.
2) There is less tolerance for positional errors. If I'm writing while looking elsewhere, my pen tends to drift around in the input area a bit. Granted, you do need to be somewhat sensitive as to your position with the letter/number distinction, but there's still more tolerance than this new system.
Now, I'll admit, perhaps I didn't give it enough of a chance. But I really don't have enough complaints about graffiti to make the effort to change either.
I've been considering getting an MP3 player for some time now. If their copy protection turns out to be innocuous or circumventable I'll probably get one. Not the "deluxe" version though. (I've got a Pilot for my phone numbers, thank you very much) I hope I won't have to re-encode all my CD's...
Well, I for one am going to filter him out if he stays. I'm one of the apparent minority who actually likes Katz's stuff so it isn't animosity toward the topics. I just really didn't like this guy's writing style.
