There's a thread open regarding preDevCamp on the Palm Developer Network forums with at least three Palm employees actively participating (VP Pam, Community Manager Chuq, and Chuq's boss).
Don't kid yourself... Without a strong understanding of math and it's concepts you don't stand a chance in CS. It's less about the actual math (depending on what you want to do) and more about the kinds of problem solving skills and thinking that goes with it.
As a CS major I had to take Calculus I, Calculus II, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, and a high level Statistics class. I would further recommend Calculus 3, though I didn't have to take it, I wish I had. I also took Physics (2 sections), Chemistry(2 sections), and Astronomy. It's a science major for a reason.
There is a far easier route, however... take CIS instead if you can't rally hack the math. The hardest math they take is maybe Business Calc with virtually none of the Science requirements as you're getting a Business degree more so than a Science one.
