If the US was going to treat Iraq the way it treated Japan after WWII I'd be all for
an actual war. OF COURSE it would be harder to deal with than Japan because...well

has gotten into is to much like Vietnam, where the government is hamstringing the
military to the point that it's futile. Best bet now it to pack up, say sorry we came,

Problem with that issue is it will likely explode in civil war. Black Hawk down and all
that kind of silliness if we even think about leaving any kind of force in Kuwait.

fingers and screaming "WHY?" doesn't really get us to get a "HOW" in terms of fixing this.

It uses U-Boot and the whole uClibcBusyBoxBuildroot stack for development. It is rather slick to work with. They even added support for the rt patch not too long ago which was a big bonus for me.
I've been working with it for about a year now and I have to say it's really the best solution for embedded Linux beginners.

What Microsoft has done with it's monopoly is made it's customers so adverse to change or marginal improvement that they can't get their own customers to switch for their own product. XP is what every one knows and loves to hate. Vista may have better security or features (I can't really say), but does better security get XP users to switch to Linux in droves? Debatable... So nice job in making your customers stupidly complacent and set in their ways that they don't want to switch to ANYTHING else, not even your own product.
Linspire is based on Ubuntu... Not the other way around...
So if anything the patent protection will flow to Ubuntu
without Mark lifting a finger (assuming GPLv3 adoption that is)
Then... Ubuntu is Debian based, and so on and so forth to the
Linux Kernel. Maybe... I'm a bit fuzzy on GPLv3 so far... any one
care to enlighten?
