"Democrats successfully painting Republicans as racist is the greatest propaganda coup in history since EVERY real civil rights gain Blacks have ever made and continue to make has been because of Republicans."
This is quite cool.. when I bought my clamshell iBook (used) years ago, it was very cheap because of a damaged DC-in power jack. The soldering had come loose on the inside, and you have to apply pressure to the plug to make it charge (I use rubber bands to charge it - very ghetto). Apple wanted hundreds of dollars to fix the jack, as the computer was out of warranty when I obtained it.
Rubber-banding it all this time, I'd been planning on a hack to solve the jack problem - but this site has complete instructions for replacing the DC-in jack, as well as where to buy a new jack! Perfect.
Netris is an ncurses-based tetris game that can be played both single and two-player (over tcp/ip). Despite being text-based, it adheres rather closely in board size and gameplay to the standard original Tetris. During the late 90s, I spent heaps of hours in netris tournaments with my mates. I don't think it's been updated since 1999, tho...
If Bluetooth is dead, then why has Apple just come out with a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse based on bluetooth? The software for controlling MacOS from a bluetooth cellphone is neat, too. I seem to be hearing more about bluetooth every day.
I would think the web browser developer community would do good to comply with standards more, sure.. but it's cool to see that standards are being set for a new useful generation of web interactivity (ie: the disabled-access terminals). I'd hope to see more of that sort of technology popping up in society as standards are set for making the web more accessible to people.
I own a couple of Unleashed books. While they tend to cover many different topics, they only seem to barely touch them. Not a lot of real useful detail on deployment of applications, at least not enough for my purposes. I haven't seen this particular book, and that's just what my personal experience with Linux Unleashed and others has been - take that as you'd like. If anyone has different experiences with them, by all means:).
The next release of MorphOS is planned to support hardware that's actually shipping. :)

The Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act weren't passed by Democrats?

If you've ever seen Robert Marsh in live chat or in web forums, you'd know that typos are his trademark of sorts.
