    Metro itself, isn't a terrible idea, its the way they implemented it that we hate. If Metro had been done like OSX App Store and Launchpad, NO ONE would be complaining.

    I don't care what the company does, my government should not be asking for that data in the first place. I expect them to show restraint and abide by the law we charge them with upholding. 'Thou shalt not troll for crime amongst the citizenry' should be an oath every LEO takes. O wait they already do when they swear to uphold the Constitution.... My government shouldn't be compiling lists and connections and vast meta data on its citizenry. Saying 'bad people do bad things' is not an acceptable excuse.

    Mass surveilling the contacts, connections and communications of every U.S citizen is fundamentally opposed to the 4th amendment. This is a serious and immediate threat to the The People and the road to tyranny. Any U.S. citizen should have standing to question and demand the end of these programs.

    This is a very wrong precedent. ANY US CITIZEN has standing against his government acting this way. TO tell me I have no standing while they blatantly and with malice ignore the the 4th is absolute bullshit. The instant they broke the law, I became an injured party. Ignoring the 4th is breaking the law, no matter how 'legal' you make it.

    You dont understand Evolution at all. Its not about the individual actors, but the ability for a species to carve out a niche and reproduce successfully in a given environment.     Is he not Commander-in-Chief? Order the soldiers to leave the base, problem solved. No amount of excuses make up for the fact that we are holding people without trial. As President he can ORDER the abandonment of the base, Congress can pick up the pieces.

    I was talking about RT. Surface Pro is a nice piece of kit, even if it comes with Win 8. I am actually waiting on the Haswell refresh before i look into a Surface Pro, but its on my radar for sure.

    That Ivy Bridge Celeron comes with VT-x and much stronger graphics as well. I have played Bioshock Infinite on my Celeron 1610 (33 fps 720p/low)

    Microsoft's understanding of the market is what is unreasonable. This thing should be dirt cheap. It is badly engineered and for the realities of the current market. RT was MS doing what MS always does, pulling its deformed dick out and expecting us to marvel at it.
