    Thats the point. EVERY single human being has their own individual set of beliefs. To go around making sure everyone is on the same page is madness. To go around FORCING the issue is evil.

    If a site is asking for your social site login credentials its a good sign you shouldnt do business with them. If they cant at least offer you a chance to make up your own credentials, they have no business operating globally.

    Irrelevant. Culture is culture, we cannot allow immortal corporations infinite monopoly on a design, even if they choose it as the mark under which they trade.

    The design is almost 70 years old. What is wrong is people thinking they can lock up art and culture that long.

    We are Gods in a universe filled with inanimate matter, no matter how vast. How readily you dismiss Free Will and Reason, as if they were not true super powers. Given enough energy/mass and knowledge I could stand astride the cosmos, bending it to my will.

    You are never going to 'solve' humans, we will always be somewhat irrational creatures, and thats ok. Part of irrationality drives Imagination, another super power.

    It is imperative we get a viable colony off world. Its as natural an urge and having children, to the reasoned mind. The goal to ensure a greater chance of the survival of the species, no matter how remote.

    We are indeed special enough to warrant such an Endeavour.....

    If your statemnet = true, then a mac can write software for any platform (that ever existed) and iOS too! Using your logic, mac computer is best computer.

    I care if the printer is patented. MakerBot is now something it wasnt before, and its status in community will be reflected as such. Its not wrong to be a little upset at an Open Source project going Dark Side. Makerbot made a decision, good on them, but dont try and tell us we cant feel a bit betrayed. Please dont try and make it out like nothing has changed.

    How is it possible at this age in computer development that we STILL design shit with giant holes in it? I honestly do not understand why it is so hard to make a robust and secure system. Is it because we demand so many features that they cant look at everything? How do you design a program that cannot be exploited? Why is it so very hard?

    The Supremes are NOT the end of the line. Congress and the Pres can overrule them, checks and balances and all that. I forget the exact mechanism, but SCOTUS decisions can be 'judged' by the other branches.

    In many cases, yes. The gradiation of Felony/misdemeanor is too sharp and its too easy to turn one into the other.

    I played multiplayer with UPnP off and no ports forwarded, as did all my friends. Maybe he meant software firewall? When i first launched the game, windows 7 popped the normal firewall access dialog. I clicked allow and it all just worked.

    The fact that i have to turn to third parties to unlock the Nexus 7 doesnt fill me with the warm and fuzzies. Its nice google didnt lock it down, but why dont i have root access available as a first-party option?
