    I find it interesting that librarians have been used in metaphors for information sharing on the internet, and now they too, are being attacked. I would hope a battle against the white haired woman who likes to keep books in order would finally gain the attention of the mainstream media and point out the insanity of the legal departments of certain large corporations. I have pantented the idea of having an idea to patent a common idea.

    Your best bet is to try a smaller local business. But, try as many as your can. Make them all "co-sponsors" for a smaller amount. Hit up any company you have relations with, like the phone company, your cable company, etc. It may sound strange, but you might be suprised what you will find. What weight class are you in? I might not want you to get a sponsor. :>

    Why are you buying a single box? Is it necessary? You can find a lot of information about distributed computing at the aggregate. You could use the money to build a computer as fast, and have computers to use for other things when the computer is obsolete (6 months). :)
