After Qualcomm got out of the e-mail client business and handed Eudora over to Mozilla, I wish that the Mozilla folks would just enhance the Eudora program - like they were "supposed to do."
Whine-ingly
Actually, that is not really a relavant question. The NTSB and CSB are independent federal agencies whose administrators have 5-year appointments and who cannot be fired by a succeeding administration. It was designed that way so that the folks at the top of the agency will last into oncoming executive branch changes.
Half-full or half-empty?
You're absolutely right about one serious illness, lawsuit or whathave you away from bankruptcy, but what the hell? Everyone has the same opportunity....not everyone has the same motivation or drive.

Mike my boy, you need to wake up and smell the Starbucks.
The "American Dream" was created by those that took risks, failed over and over again, then tried again. They have a spirit of "do it yourself" and not, as you suggest, "give it to me."
Notice the one of the founding documents, the Declaration of Independence states that our "inalienable rights" (granted to us by a Creator, I might add) are "Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of Happiness" (emphasis mine, not Hancock's, or any of the other 50+ signers of the document). That means you have the RIGHT to PURSUE the "American Dream," not have it handed to you on a plate.
Get up, get a job, get another if you have to, and start realizing the dream.

Suck it up like I did, drop close to $1000 on Hughesnet. While it's not a perfect solution (the latency is annoying) it's beats the hell out of dialup. $70/month - 1MB down/200k up and things are much better.
No WoW-ing though.
Watada will go to Levenworth for a long time and he deserves it. The American soldier goes where he's told to go, and fight whom he's told to fight. Period. Check your "free speech rights" and many others when you raise your hand. It was explained to him as it was to me 25 years ago. If you can't hack it, don't join.
This won't work. My standard answer to the obligatory "How much are you being paid for your testimony" question is "Zero. My company bills (________ fill in firm name here) for my time. My testimony is based on my opinion of the facts that surround the case." I've always found this to ususally shut the questioning attorney up regarding my expenses.
"Turn off your cell phone towers so we can't be bombed back into the last century." Right- that should happen....

Naaa...they are graduate students and therefore expendable. ChemGeek4501

I guess that would make it a cold day in hell then. I should have said 6th-8th cirlce where there's some heat.
It will be a cold day in the 9th Circle when I start allowing Microsoft to be in charge of my security.
No - that's the definition of a LUCKY teen.
