I've been working with IQinvision's IQEye 511 camera (www.iqeye.com) for the past couple of months... The IQEye cams are a good place to start. Axis is certainly a big vendor also, but IQEye is a better price.
(I work closely with a video surveillance software company, this comes straight from my buddies there.)
Diebold is pronounced as if German, i.e. "Deebold". Kinda spoiled the suspension of disbelief for me. If you're gonna fake the news, at least get all the stuff right that you're not making up. Still funny, though...
