I'm certainly not the most up to date on all the RIAA's done, etc. however...
It seems to me that it's the DUPLICATION that is an infringement of copyright and not simply making something available.
Putting my MP3s in my shared music folder so I can listen to them at work is not necessarily a copyright infringement. When my neighbor copies them, however, so he can listen to them for his enjoyment and not pay for the license to do that, well then, THAT is the infringement.
Just like photocopier days... if I forgot my musical score on the photocopier after legally making copies for my music students, and someone else makes a copy, THEY are the ones that have infringed, not me. I suppose it could be argued that I was negligent in protecting their IP, but that wasn't really part of the agreement when I purchased the score for classroom use (and presumably paid for that level of use).
I'm sure it's all been hashed about before, but what am I missing?
Wearing something like that into an airport is just asking for trouble. It's not even being naive, just flat out rebellious and stupid. It's really not that hard to wear an unmodified sweatshirt to pick up your friend at the airport.

The new keys are not like fobs that you have to push a button on... they are transponders. The car pings them as you get close, and they respond with a code that unlocks the car. Basically, the car is pushing the transmit button.

Appears some of you haven't purchased a car lately... There are some newer vehicles that the ONLY key is a fob that you never need to even take out of your pocket / purse.
And NO, you don't have to be WITHOUT YOUR KEYS for an hour... they just need access to the fob for an hour. Since it's wireless, you don't even hafta take the key out of your pocket for them.
So, you now have a fob of your own that will unlock, and start your neighbor / corworker's car. There's no hotwiring to do. You don't have to break any mechanical locks. YOU NOW HAVE THE FRIGGIN' KEY!

nearly a year old being posted? I have the whole set (well, 'cept the very newest one) and we shoot our little foam rockets at them all the time!

Only if they're reasonably smart. We had a thief call Dell Support after he could not get logged in. Duh. -- Mitch

Ha! Just noticed they actually talk about the Gumstix in the book.
Perhaps this http://gumstix.com/waysmalls.html is small enough?
