I am not a mac fanboy, i accutaly dont like mac, i dont like windows either, linux is for me.
Maby Mac OS X is insecure but no one is attacking it so it doesnt matter. The north pole has no defences but no one is starting a war there.
The same problem has happened loads of times on Office and most other M$ products, we just have to live with it. I just hope that they do something about it and soon, because although i dont use Windows and office on my home computer, in work i have no choice.

Ive been reading slashdot for a while including comments. And im sure i have plenty of sense. If they found things like that being uploaded from his computer they take him and his computer into custody (wont be the first time for him) They then use computer forensic tecniques to discover what is transfering the files, 2 hours later he is released to go back to his normal particularly boring as he sees it, life.
I dont care if the FBI or MI5 or whoever is monitoring what goes on in my street, if I have a terrorist cell living next door to me too right they can pull all the traffic that is going down this street. If they find out im downloading illegal music do you really think they will be bothered by it... its not the terrorist information they are looking for. Its like if the police where raiding an apartment block on a guns raid and go into one house, and find someone smoking a joint they realy are not going to put on hold there aim to stop this person.
My question for the people that dont like this idea is, WHAT are you downloading or looking up that is so bad that the FBI will look at your case and not the person they are mainly looking for?
But I too did the right thing, and legally bought a Mac. ... matter of opinion on doing the right thing by buying a MAC;)
I just use Linux, when i didnt use linux i did have a legal XP licence, but sold it to my mate for £5 because i didnt need it any more.
Didnt people once say we would never need 512MB of disk space? We are now using terabites and you can get more than 4GB that you can carry in your pocket. If it can be done, one day there will probly be a need for it.
I personaly thinks its good what they have done, because it proves that it is possible. Maby their style of doing things wont become a home thing, but you must admire these guys for acctualy DOing it.
