A made of mine is A330 and A340 rated (as well as Hawk and Hawker 125) - his comment was that he'd love the fly-by-wire setup of Airbus combined with a Boeing yoke.

Personally I don't see the problem with a side stick, but then I'm not a commercial pilot. However I remember seeing pilots take advantage of the lack of yoke and literally put their feet up.

Where I am (in the UK) there is also a speed limit sign nearby. It doesn't stop idiots from slowing down 10mph below the limit when they see the camera and then speeding up. It's almost like they have no idea what the speed limit actually is.

Personally I'd like the police to be able to force the driver to present an eye test result within a fortnight, as they clearly can't see what's around them (the inconvenience and cost might make them more attentive). Same goes for driving with fog lights on. Make the driver prove they don't have cataracts as they seem to think it's foggy when it's not.

Our PBX lets us specify the Caller ID for any extension. However if we attempt to use a number not in our DDI range BT will clip the Caller ID to our main number. Any legitimate telecoms provider should do this to prevent spoofing. The same goes for *some* of the SIP providers I've talked to - they need proof of ownership of the DDI before they will allow you to set the Caller ID, however I imagine it's fairly easy to get around.
