A made of mine is A330 and A340 rated (as well as Hawk and Hawker 125) - his comment was that he'd love the fly-by-wire setup of Airbus combined with a Boeing yoke.
Personally I don't see the problem with a side stick, but then I'm not a commercial pilot. However I remember seeing pilots take advantage of the lack of yoke and literally put their feet up.
I had a script that used to I used to run whenever I found somebody trying to sell a rebadged package like Open/LibreOffice, GIMP, etc. It would simulate clicks on the offending advert via a list of proxies until that advert disappeared - generally they have a fairly low daily click allowance so that they don't get hit by large fees from google.
Where I am (in the UK) there is also a speed limit sign nearby. It doesn't stop idiots from slowing down 10mph below the limit when they see the camera and then speeding up. It's almost like they have no idea what the speed limit actually is.
Personally I'd like the police to be able to force the driver to present an eye test result within a fortnight, as they clearly can't see what's around them (the inconvenience and cost might make them more attentive). Same goes for driving with fog lights on. Make the driver prove they don't have cataracts as they seem to think it's foggy when it's not.
It's illegal to have speed camera locations in your SatNav in counties like France. Not sure how that works in reality though. But then they do have one of the highest road death rates in Western Europe so I guess they're trying to reduce that.
That was the first thing my driving instructed told me - "never trust anyone else on the road, always assume they're going to do something unexpected".
I've often told them "you know, you could just stop taking A LOT of that stuff", especially after they tell me how sick they get from the side effects...
So why don't you write them a prescription for what they *actually* need. I'm guessing you're a certified doctor because you know what they should and shouldn't be on.
I don't think that SIP server is still up, and from what I read they guy who configured it (and recorded his dad's voice) has allowed it to be copied. Which is a shame, it was funny as fuck.
Our PBX lets us specify the Caller ID for any extension. However if we attempt to use a number not in our DDI range BT will clip the Caller ID to our main number. Any legitimate telecoms provider should do this to prevent spoofing. The same goes for *some* of the SIP providers I've talked to - they need proof of ownership of the DDI before they will allow you to set the Caller ID, however I imagine it's fairly easy to get around.
Laser Sintering has been around long enough that the *initial* patents have expired. I used to think of it being used predominantly for prototyping, but apparently it's used for low volume runs as well, which is exactly what the SuperDraco thruster and ULA components will be.
CO2 works fine too, but the hand flapping and increased respiration attempts aren't real pretty to watch
I'm pretty sure that the increased respiration attempts aren't enjoyable to endure either - the body senses heightened levels of CO2 as a sign of suffocation. Whereas CO simply attaches to red blood cells instead of O2, meaning there's no sense of suffocation.
The point still stands though. If he had been so public about it, then a brief visit from Flowers By Irene to explain that flying VFR over DC and landing at the Capitol would end badly *might* have dissuaded him.

I've no problem with compulsory voting, providing you are allowed to spoil your ballot

Or they do more than average miles so are statistically more likely to be in accidents. Or people tailgate them to read their stupid sign.

Lawyers can get fired?
What world are you living on? On the real world that kind of crazy talk might fly, but this is MAFIAA town we're talking about.
I know, it's almost like you'd want a distro to have different versions to suit server vs desktop usage.
Ugh, I find those tacky enough without even being the actual replicas of the bride and groom.

No, I'd call it hard graft.
Newgrange
Huh, I wasn't playing it down at all, not sure where you got that idea.

I'm pretty sure that all the people extolling the virtues of NAT have never had to deal with Carrier-Grade NAT.
I want to live in Belgium - amazing beer and 33% IPv6 adoption.
The difference between Europe and America:
* In America 100 years is considered a long time
* In Europe 100 miles is considered a long distance
Certainly true for me - I grew up on an Island where we have monuments going back 5,100 years, but is only 174 by 302 miles in size.

Hawaii has been annexed by Kenya? /s
