Is it just me, or is this yet another case of Stevie saying "look, I was RIGHT last time!". I'm not sure I see the utility in the cube design, but then again I haven't seen the actual unit either. I can say that while I like my NeXT cube, I don't see any particular value to it's cube shape...
Same as bikers. The entertainment industry painted bikers out to be crazed depraved loonies, and it stuck. The great majority of bikers are (generally) law abiding citizens, and the outlaws proudly call themselves 1 or 2 percenters, implying that even they realize they aren't the norm. Try telling that to Wally and Doris... They've bought into hollywood's version.
Same as it ever was. Gotta learn that secret handshake before they'll let you in the club. In this case, they say it's for your own good. Thanks, but I'd rather decide what's in my own best interests.
My escape was 5 years of drug addiction, culminating in hardcore methamphetamine usage and living on the streets, because I'd rather use drugs than go home. The pot smokers accepted me. The "in crowd" didn't.
Not that I condone being a doper. It was a dumb thing to do, but it was my escape from that hell. Glad to be a geek nowadays. Screw the dumb bastards.
Get a group together, put the DeCSS code on there... ;-)

The media certainly has a lot to do with it...

Who is Number One?!
:-P
I too was the outcast.
